Where are you from?

- Originally from Kazan

How long have you been playing volleyball?

- I've been playing volleyball for 14 years. I started studying because I saw my uncle playing for the university team, I liked volleyball for its entertainment and unpredictability, as well as the interaction of players on the field.

What position do you play and how do you like it?

My role is a central blocker. I like this position because I'm constantly on the move. I can rarely be passed and I don't earn a huge amount of points, as do the players, but when it turns out to make a quick and beautiful combination past the block or block a difficult attacker at the right moment for the team, it causes complete delight! It is especially pleasant when I can clear the way for the outfield attackers with my distracting actions and thanks to this they will be able to score on a single block.

Volleyball for you is…

- Volleyball for me is primarily a sport to which I have devoted my life and which has sunk into my heart forever. Secondly, these are trips, meetings, new acquaintances, new friends and close people.

What is the level of players in the Ural League?

- There are absolutely different levels of players in the Ural League and I like it. There are also experienced players who have played in the Higher Leagues, Super League, university teams, cities, regions, but weaker players who have not played volleyball professionally also play, but they are gaining strength and experience in our league and are slowly starting to show good results.

If I didn't play volleyball, what would I do?

- Before volleyball, I went to music school and studied piano and vocals, before performing on stage was my childhood dream. Now, after years of sports, it is very difficult to clearly understand where I would have headed my way if not for volleyball.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I study, watch movies / TV series, walk with friends, go to the sauna, pool.

What are your plans for sports?

At this period of life, there are no specific plans for big-time sports. After the operation on my arm, many ways to get there became closed to me. So far, I see my final stop in volleyball in the Ural League.
